Our Vision
We aim to make grade calculations easier for IB students despite the complex rubrics and criterias. This is especially important as there were no other student-based tools made for IB students before.
How it works
Program
The calculator was programmed using using JavaScript, a compiled programming language used for web pages. It is able to fit the grading criterias of the IB curriculum, allowing its calculations to be close to accurate.
Calculation
In order to provide more customization, we decided to allow users to only add one grade per criteria. This is because teachers have their own ways of finding the average for each strand and criterias, which isn't something that a program can predict.
